Hi there! I’m from the USA but am currently a student at KU Leuven. I love to travel and try and take every opportunity I can to explore and adventure. :) I’m a history teacher and love sharing stories and learning new things about the past through wandering the world and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a student (and was a teacher before), so I don't exactly have an unlimited budget when I travel. Couchsurfing simply allows me to afford to see and do more. The last few times I've traveled I've been a solo traveler so getting to meet new people from around the world makes my trips that much better!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I played softball across Europe two summers in a row against teams from Russia, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Holland, and a Slovakia!

Teach, Learn, Share

As I’ve mentioned, I love history. I like to think I know a lot about it but also know I’ll never know it all (but I’ll sure try). I also love sports, good music, and conversation. I can find interest in just about anything!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I always try to bring little souvenirs from home to give to my hosts when I travel; postcards, stickers, treats, etc. If someone is sharing a bit of their home with me then I want to share a bit of mine with them!
