Hi :) I'm Chelsea from England and have been travelling since September 2015 after leaving my job in London on a longterm quest to see, experience and learn about our beautiful world.

I am easy going, appreciate the simple things in life and interested in the stories other people have to tell about their experiences.

I arrived in Australia in March with a sad bank account and set about to find a job. I have just left the island in the Whitsundays where I was living and working for the past 4 months and am spending the next few weeks exploring a bit of the rest of Australia before I look for somewhere to settle and work again!

After working on an island in the Whitsundays for the past 4 months, I am back on the road and in the world of solo travel. As I am starting to see more of Australia, and hearing of the great couch surfing experiences of my friends, meeting people from all walks of life, I believe this will be the most rewarding and enjoyable way of experiencing new places. Seeing somewhere from the eyes of a local is an amazing opportunity, and I plan to be able to return the favour in the next place I decide to settle down for a little while.

FILM
... I have an ever growing written list of fantastic films that I love to share with anyone who will listen and am always looking for recommendations! Most recently I was introduced to Waking Life which was spectacular.
Baraka and Samsara are my all time favourites and continue to inspire my journey every time I re-watch them.
Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarrantino also never fail to disappoint.
