ABOUT ME

I started couch surfing while I lived in Europe and fell in love with it. I am from North Carolina, but have lived many places. I lived in Washington DC last year for 8 months before moving to Paris, France. I lived in Paris for another few months while I explored Europe. I moved to Munich for my MBA in Communications & PR. I then got a full time job for MasterCard in NYC. Lived in Manhattan for one full year before moving to Gothenburg, Sweden. I am currently awaiting my permanent residency permit in Sweden. I love to make friends and explore.

PHILOSOPHY

my philosophy is to never let a moment go to waste. always be active and never let laziness be a reason for not accomplishing a dream. anything is possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed quite a few times and have been SO lucky to have such great hosts. If I have time, I love to spend time with my hosts and hear stories about their travels and adventures. I think anyone who is willing to open their doors for the comfort of a stranger is by my definition a pretty great human being.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am willing to provide my Facebook to verify my identity. 2500+ friends. I also have some reputable friends on couch surfer who will speak to my authenticity. I have surfed 3 times: Cambridge, Strasbourg, and Brussels (and counting...). However, I have met up with surfers in Paris and Crete, etc. I love this website so much.

Bottom line I just love to learn - clothes, music, books, films, decor, etc. All of these unique aspects that define culture intrigue me, and I find that as I live in different places my preferences will change in adapting with the friends I make in that country.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been so fortunate to live such a full life. Culture never ceases to amaze me. I have climbed Mount Vesuvius with a professional vulcanologist - I have driven spent a few weeks adventuring through Thailand and Myanmar - I have lived a full year in New York City. Every new place I visit, the one guaranteed outcome is that the people you met there make the place worth visiting.
