Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I really love meeting people and learning about cultures directly from locals. Not from the window of a bus or from a tour guide at a museum. I choose to hitch hike and stay in people's homes so I can truly grasp the vibe of that country. I'm so appreciative and blown away by people who open their homes and their hearts to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walked the length of the NZ South Island 1200km then hitched back to Auckland solo. Took me 5 months and it was life changing.
