ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Chelsea and I am a happy traveler from sunny Santa Barbara, CA. Couchsurfing has been so helpful to me throughout my travels, and I am always happy to host when back n my hometown. I generally like to get to know my host over coffee or drinks, although this is not mandatory if they are more of a keep-to-yourself type. Either way, it is my hope that we get along and have a mutually beneficial convergence of paths.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my stay at any given home, I would like to cook a meal for my host (and their family, if available) and get to know them a bit. Some people's paths only cross once, so I feel it is my personal responsibility to myself to gather and spread as much joy as I can in that given time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted many back home with no problems, have couchsurfed myself in Hawaii, Austria, Slovakia, and Hungary.

I help run a nonprofit based on educating the community about the correlation between single use plastic and human sourced ocean pollution. I take a big part in the education program, where we introduce kids to the idea of ;use less, waste less; and am happy to discuss these ideas or provide more information on the topic.
