Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be curious, learn, love, and enjoy.
ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing person, curious about the world and excited to learn about it (there is a lot about education that I believe comes from getting far away from one's comfort zone). I love finding new things and having good stories to tell later. My three favorite things are dancing, sitting outside and having a drink, and ultimate frisbee.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is a series of experiences, and it is my job to find good ones, make the best of the bad ones, and fully be a part of the ones that I decide to bring my way. I think it's important to listen, to be patient, to always be learning and adapting, but most importantly to enjoy all of it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've surfed in my travels through Colombia and Mexico and have sincerely enjoyed every bit of it! No matter where I've lived, the couchsurfing community has always been a welcoming, safe place for me to meet and hang out with cool people. Now that I'm in Panama, I'm looking forward to doing the same down here!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
As an avid ultimate frisbee player, I have tons of unofficial couch surfing experience, as it is a general rule in the ultimate world to try and share as much as we can. I've surfed in Colombia and Mexico since joining and have had good experiences all around.
Interests
Ultimate frisbee, any kind of dancing (especially salsa and swing), learning new things, rock climbing, green chile, meal sharing, drinking wine, reading, writing, singing, being outside, exploring cities

Music, Movies, and Books
movies: Empire Records, Pan's Labyrinth, Surf Ninjas, Harold and Maude
music:
If it's nice outside and I can sit on a porch or the end of a long night>>Otis Redding, Al Green, Sam Cooke
If I'm dancing>>swing or anything latin, gaitero
Lately>>lots of Panamanian reggaeton, dancehall
books: anything. Seriously. Except maybe Gossip Girl or any celebrity memoir.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I can't pick one! The colorado rockies, a desert sunset, the Colombian coast, ruins in Mexico, cloud forests, and watching people in Haiti slowly rebuild and muscle through their circumstances. Each has produced a different kind of awe.
Teach, Learn, Share
teach: salsa dancing, swing dancing, Spanish (and how to make tortilla)
Learn: sailing, surfing, yoga
Share: a decent collection of frisbees, cooking (from Panama, Colombia, Spain, and New Mexico), a book or two, and some wine tasting expertise
