Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From September 22 - December (TBD), 2015 my boyfriend, Erik, and I will be traveling from Berlin to Ethiopia. We would love to meet *you* along the way to share experiences, get local advice, and have a generally awesome time!

Can I list everything? Seriously, everything is interesting to me- but most notably:
-traveling (also most obviously). I've lived in Rwanda and Ghana as a student, Liberia as an intern, and Vietnam as a teacher.
-camping, hiking, climbing (pretty much anything outside),
-drinking good beer/wine while making good (vegetarian) food, preferably with good conversation and company
-reading and learning/expanding my consciousness

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

(more than one):
1. Living "off the grid" in a small village in Liberia with no running water or electricity
2. Learning how to ride a motorbike through the hectic, frenzied streets of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
3. Bungee jumping into the source of the Nile River in Jinja, Uganda
4. Trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal (Annapurna Base Camp)- I've never seen mountain tops glitter like that before!
