About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Meeting new people and helping however I can
Seeing new places and understanding more about the world
I am a nerd at heart and am interested in just about everything. However, I think people are endlessly fascinating and I've yet to find anything as dynamic as people so I'm just here to take it all in. Give me your quirks, your idiosyncrasies, your muddled masses.
ABOUT ME
The only thing I'm certain of is that nothing is certain. I've recently realized that I unintentionally designed my life around helping people; from my undergraduate degree in psychology to my recently discovered passion for doing stand up comedy.
I like music, I love jazz. I love impressionism and post-modernism. I hate being under-dressed. I hate beets and olives. I love trying new food and sharing what I love with other people whether its music, art or food. I think one of my favorite things in life is watching someone light up as they tell you about what they love....that's the good stuff.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to travel, make new friends and help people where possible.
Also, I kind of love having unexpectedly authentic conversations with people that I've just met. I know that may sound strange, and I certain don't expect it, but its just a nice reminder that we are all connected.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite song, band or album can change daily. However, I always love the Alabama Shakes and anything from Motown.
I love movies and am always finding new favorites, but I really love Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
I think I need to read more books before I pick a favorite but On The Road really resonated with me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm a little boring and self depracating, I think getting into stand-up is probably one of the gutsiest things I've done. I also eat spicier food than I should occasionally.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a decent cook, I have a recipe for baked mac and cheese that is painfully time consuming but also perfect. I'm a really good listener and may pursue a career in counseling, in the mean time you can use me as an impartial sounding board.
I can draw OK portraits of human faces.
But really let me cook dinner for you, you probably wont regret it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share random facts about things you never thought were interesting.
Free makeover? Help you clean your closet? I know quite a bit about style (for men and women) and cosmetics from my years in retail.
I'm no master chef, but I have an arsenal of recipes to feed a hungry soul or two and I can wash a dish like no one's business.
