I grew up in Utah the oldest of four children. We have always had pets so I love animals. I have worked as a nanny for 7 years as well as in customer service and offices. I lived near Philadelphia for 1.5 years and in New York City for about 4 years before coming home to Utah to prepare for this trip. I hope it is the beginning of many more adventures seeing much more of the world, but even if it isn't, at least I am taking the opportunity now!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm embarking in April on a backpacking trip that will take me to Israel, Cyprus, Istanbul, and much of Europe, ending in the UK in September. I hope to add several European countries along the way this summer, and perhaps Morocco as well if I can make it work!
I have saved and planned for months, but still want to be careful and conscious of where my money goes - I'd rather it be on experiences and travel and yes, food, than on expensive hotels and resorts!

I also recently read Leonard Nimoy's and Felicia Day's memoirs, they were excellent.
