About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live in the present as cliche as that sounds. I've been trying to plan the future a lot lately while reminiscing on the past, and well that doesn't do much for the present. So cheers to the present!
ABOUT ME
I live in the mountains of North Carolina, where the scenery is beautiful and people are friendly. I love to adventure whether it's hiking, mountain biking, or exploring a new town with my boyfriend. I have a little dog named Stormulus who goes tubing down rivers, rock climbs, and loves a good hike.
I have studied abroad in Freiburg, Germany and Punta Gorda, Belize, which made me realize my love for learning new cultures and making great international friends. When I travel, I like to meet the locals and spend time sharing stories with them at their favorite places and enjoying delicious food!

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music is good ol' rock and roll, 1950s Jamaican Reggae, and folk, basically anything with a banjo, mandolin, or fiddle. Although, I will listen to just about anything.
I love to read. I typically read a lot of non-fiction because I love history...the stuff that isn't taught in schools. I also read some fiction, and my favorite author right now is Kurt Vonnegut. The last two books I read are Yes Please! by Amy Pohler and Modern Romance by Aziz Anzari... which were both great!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I've done is backflip out of a plane in the Swiss Alps.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn about how others live and how they've become who they are. I enjoy learning their language, styles of cooking, and cultural customs.
What I Can Share with Hosts
This question is hard to articulate into words, but mainly I love to share stories with others. Storytelling is one of the most valuable forms of communication humans have.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belize, Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland
