I am generally an open-minded, friendly and considerate person who likes to enjoy life's experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Serenity. Courage. Wisdom.
I look for the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Yes it's from the serenity prayer - so it might sound familiar to many of you :)
Pain happens for a reason and when it does it is a chance to improve yourself and your situation in life, even if it's just by improving your attitude because you have no more control over the situation than that. There's enough bad stuff that happens in this world, we should all treat each other with respect and kindness.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: literature.
Some books I've read recently that I've enjoyed include - Dracula; The Last Picture Show; Things Fall Apart; Cosmicomics.
Some old favorites: Power of One; Weep Not Child; Pride and Prejudice; The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal.
Music: I like a wide variety of music and tend to get bored listening to one band or style for a consecutive, extended period of time. All time favorite band: Modest Mouse.
Movies: I for some reason (nostalgia?) love the Die Hard series. I have not seen the newest one yet.

I know a little to moderate amount about a lot of random stuff. I am mostly interested in how objects and people work. I have been told I tend to give good advice.
