I'm a very go-with-the-flow type of person. I love to learn, so I'm constantly watching videos, reading or chatting with people to expand my circle of knowledge. I'd like to contribute to society with anything I can - singing, scientific research, jokes, friendship, etc!

I'm currently studying Public Health: Nutrition at UNC Chapel Hill with the hopes of aiding the world's most vulnerable populations. I'm working with an organization now who not only delivers food aid to those who need it, but sends teams to do capacity building with the hopes that communities will no longer need our help. I have enough knowledge to be dangerous but not too much to think that all problems can be solved.

Personally, I'm an 8 on the Enneagram - The Challenger. I want to use my confident personality to fight for justice around the world. Basically, I wish I were a superhero.

I would love to do an exchange of music (I sing and play harp and cajon), cooking (grad school in nutrition) and travel stories (I've lived in Thailand and China). I also love board games, cards, and karaoke.

Traveling is wonderful but expensive and can be lonely. This gives me the opportunity to meet incredible people and travel on a budget and help those traveling on a budget as well. It's a much richer experience overall.

When I finally escape the crippling debts of student loans, I hope to pay it forward by being a gracious host to other travelers. I've met some lifelong friends through couchsurfing.

兴趣

Watching funny videos (John Oliver, Stephen Colbert), doing things outdoors (swimming in rivers/oceans/springs, hiking, mushroom foraging), singing and playing harp and cajon (I'm in a weekly songwriting circle), movies (comedy and action).

People recharge me, so I love to have deep conversations with those closest to my heart.

I stayed in the Amazonian Jungle in Peru for 2 weeks exposed to the creatures of the area. I bathed in waterfalls and slept with a monkey.

I try to be a great house guest. I respect the boundaries set by others. I always keep my area clean. I'm super grateful for the experience, so I like to spoil my host with cooking (I LOVE to cook), singing or offering an ear for stories and ideas.
