ABOUT ME

I'm Thai but I grew up in the US, going back and forth from the US to Thailand. But I've lived there a total of almost 9 years. Of course, I'm bilingual in both languages :) My home town is actually Khon Kaen, a province in the northeast but I've been living in Bangkok since I got into uni in 2006.

I graduated with first class honors in BA in Spanish from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand's most prestigious university, went to Indonesia for 2 months on an HIV/AIDS internship with an NGO from March-May then went to Spain for a 1 1/2 months with a scholarship form the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs,started my career as a Personal Assistant at multinational Servcorp and progressed to a managerial role. 3 years of Servcorp later, I am now based in our Irvine, California office.

Interests

I am a hardcore football (#it's football NOT soccer) fan and I enjoy watching other sports (especially in the stadium). Thanks to the husband, I now enjoy watching the UFC...only if he watches it of course.

I'm a woman, and every woman likes to shop. I LOVE beaches...I have to go every month or so. I enjoy reading and watching movies.

LOVE taking photos. I will bring my selfie stick when I travel and my camera because a smart phone camera just isn't enough!

I LOOOVE travelling and it's my dream to travel the world :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to read TIMES magazine, books on ancient civilizations and mythology.

I'm a fan of historical fiction like books from Dan Brown, Steve Berry and my current favorite Philippa Gregory. I enjoy fantasy like Game of Thrones. The only chick lit I read are from Nicholas Sparks.

I enjoy fantasy/periodical history series or documentaries. Game of Thrones is obviously the best one ever, I also follow Flash, Arrow, Gotham, Reign, Vikings, The White Queen...you see the trend...

America's Next Top Model and Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise...hey they're dumb but one, I can't stop watching and two I watch these while cleaning so ha!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-I was Thailand's representative for the 4th UNESCO Youth Forum in France at 17.

-Backpacked France alone for 3 weeks when I was 17.

-Joined a grassroot NGO in Indonesia to help those affected by HIV for 2 months.

-Ask my about my love story and what happened - I can make a drama series from it.

-Won a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for a one month advanced intensive Spanish course in Spain.

-Hunted football/soccer players in Bangkok and have photos and autographs of Dirk Kuyt, Nigel De Jong,Jan Venegoor of Hassellink, Johnnh Heitinga, Wesley Sneijder, Klaas Huntelaar, Mario Melchiot, Lucas Neill, Harry Kewell, Vincenzo Grella, John Aloisi, Mark Breschano, Mark Viduka, Tim Cahill, Xavi Alonso, Steve McManaman, Christian Karembeu, John Terry, Paulo Ferreira, Ashley Cole, Petr Cech, Andre Villas-Boas, Graeme Le Saux, Florent Malouda and Roberto Di Matteo.

-I've seen the following teams live: Chelsea (My TEAM!), Liverpool, LA Galaxy, Juventus, Everton, Dutch, Mexican, Brazilian and Australian national teams, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Peñarol, Chivas Guadelajara, Manchester United, Arsenal and Barcelona.

Teach, Learn, Share

I used to be a personal language tutor, I can teach English, Thai and Spanish.

I want to share and exchange my CS and travel experiences and ideas and with everyone, especially people with different backgrounds because I love opening my horizons to new knowledge, perspectives and ideas.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you everything about Thailand, about how it was growing up in 2 countries, I can show and cook Thai food.

I can teach you English Thai and Spanish - I'm a language major so I can teach you the science behind it to help you improve that language you are trying to learn.

I'm a latin dancer! I can teach you to dance salsa, bachata and although I'm very rusty and do not practice the rhythms but I can also teach the cha-cha, rumba and tango.

And finally I can share my love and friendship to you!
