About Me

Lifelong learner/self-taught student in the fields of Art History and languages, also a certified Apple Macintosh technician.

Out and about at the moment, but will be hosting again once I settle somewhere in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Planning a trip with a friend, I decided to sign up and see what this was about. I forgot to change my status, and suddenly I had tens of requests. So I accepted.

It was, literally speaking, a mistake. One that has changed my life for the better. I'm in CouchSurfing because of all the learning, the traveling, the people, the everything. Gratefulness and the sense of sharing is what makes this experience.

This web and these people are one of the best things that ever happened to me. And although it was initially a mistake, I encourage everyone to try it, to make the "mistake" I made, and (possibly) live one of the greatest experiences you can have, thanks to one of the best tools in the internet I've ever seen.

Interests

Art History, technology and science, learning languages, books, music (indie, rock, electronic and jazz are a preference), a really nice movie and good and meaningful conversations.

Music, Movies, and Books

If you want to see the kind of music I listen to, just go and check the Primavera Sound 2014/2015 line-up or check Pitchfork, and you'll get a sense of it.

I enjoy reading all kind of articles about technology, music or world events. Books are not my strongest choose of medium, but I enjoy especially non-fiction, more recently focusing around art theory and its practice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer. In farms, in a hostel, in a house, maybe somewhere else. It may sound like it is not much, but for me it has been and still is.

I have learnt so many things about working, about a job well done, about routine, about having a sense of time, about not having it.

Volunteering means exchanging your work for a non-spoken value, not money. What you get is gratefulness and knowledge, not money or anything material.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you art history, how to control your gadgets, resources to learn all sorts of stuff in the internet, new kinds of music you never heard of. And maybe story of mine will help you too.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My passion for art and technology, my language, my travelling stories, my experience as a volunteer...
