I'm starting grad school in marine ecology this fall at Oregon State University.

I enjoy diversions like dancing, yoga, watching movies, cooking/baking, and crafts. I'd like to get into more outdoor activities and be more active.

I feel that modern life gravitates toward the routine, which is something that I'd like to avoid.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first encountered couchsurfing indirectly. I rented a room in Rome a couple summers ago and my roommate allowed some couchsurfers to crash. I was a lot less busy than he was, so I ended up exploring the city with the couchsurfers and it was great to meet other travelers.

I recently couchsurfed for the first time in Portland, OR. I really connected with my host and had a great time wandering around the city with her and just hanging out at her place. Couchsurfing is a truly great way to meet people outside of your usual social circle and learn new things.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went on a research cruise in the Sargasso Sea for about 10 days. It was overcast most of the time, but one night when it cleared up the stars were just incredible.

Jumping off a 20ft cliff into the Santorini caldera and swimming in the ocean with a view of Oia from the sea.
