People usually call me Kou (pronounced like Koh), I was born in Japan and I spend 13 years of my life in Taiwan, 4 years in the UK, a year in Canada, and now I am in Cambridge. UK, doing a PhD in Neurosciences

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a chef in a Japanese restaurant in London when I was in the first year of university. I did not like it when I was doing it but now I think it is quite an unusual and interesting experience

I like science and problem solving in general. Outside of my scientific career, I enjoy cooking a lot. I cook Asian food often but these days I am learning to cook central European dishes
