About Me

ABOUT ME

I am a very outgoing and easygoing person.
I was born in China and came to United States for college. My hobbies include swimming, cross-stitching, singing, playing piano and of course traveling. I like meeting both local people and other travelers when I travel. It is interesting to get to know the thought and views from different people.
Also, I love learning languages. Even though I am only fluent in Chinese and English, I picked up some Spanish when I was traveling to South America.. .for me communicating with people is fun and educating!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Top three best memories so far:
1) Sailing on SSV Cramer Vessel from st. Croix, to Bermuda, and to Boston.
2) Night excursion in the Amazon Jungle-hearing nature and seeing nothing.
3) trekking from Cuzco to Machu Picchu- experiencing the most exhaustion as well as happiness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2010, I joined an NPO volunteer group in China and went to Tibetan area studying the local environment. That was my first experience traveling with strangers. The trip was composed of science, danger, astonishment by nature, and in the end friendship. That trip made me fall in love with travel, which in my understanding is composed of both sightseeing and meeting people. Since then, I became an amateur in travel, hoping to travel at least one place in depth every year. The tibetan trip was a milestone in my life because it established my interest in travel.
