I am a clinical counsellor and art therapist living in Vancouver.
I am passionate about the arts, especially dancing , music and visual art. I love doing street performance as a singer and if you play other instruments well, I'll be happy to jam or busk together! I also love Argentine tango, if you also do, we can go to a milonga together. I have been practicing Chinese Calligraphy since I was 8 years old. I'd be happy to teach you or share with you some of the therapeutic art activities I knew, as I am also an art therapist. I am originally from Taiwan. I had my undergraduate degree in Hong Kong so I can also speak Cantonese.

Indigo is my old english now, I picked that name because my friend claimed that I had many traits similar to "Indigo Child", you could search online if interested :DDDDD. I changed my English name into Violet around 1.5 years ago but I haven't found a way to change it here.

I chose to study abroad and travelled quite a lot during these years. Those experiences I got really became percious nurishment of life for me. Contrary to simply exchanging benifits, I would have real interest for knowing CSers or my host, with sincerity and gratitude. I believe that "A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.” and treasure all friendships in my journey. Based on the passion for life and curiosity for people, I love couchsurfing.

兴趣

I love violin a lot, and is now learning full-heartedly. l love reading, watching movies, exploring Mother Nature, thinking thoroughly and nevagating into complicated psychological world of human beings.

I started my exploration in art, including body movement, music, and visual art, even before kindergarten. Thus, they are just like my mother tougue, with which I could express myself thoroughly.

I really love chatting, no matter it's about life stories, personal cultural observations or dreams. If you are interested in art, creating an art work together or simply relaxing through art activities would be great. If you are obsessed with music just like me, jamming or busking is all welcome, but I could only sing. Sharing or teaching songs of Taiwan, China, Hong Kong or even English songs would be fine, too.

I could share with you my life stories or introduce you more about art therapy and counceling.
Last but not least, I would be really grateful if you wanna know more about my beautiful home town, Taiwan, where is famous for the kindnesss of the residants and it's special history & culture in the Chinese-speaking region.
