Salam! I’m a Chinese Muslim convert. I’m currently a student of Imperial College London. I study pure maths. I can speak Chinese and English and am currently learning Arabic. I have great interest in Islamic culture all over the world and I wish I have the chance to visit all Muslim countries. I also wanna learn cooking the dishes of all Muslim countries as the way they appreciating our beautiful religion.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Wanna travel around all muslim countries. Wanna meet Muslims from all over the world. Also I do love people from everywhere and all countries. But I gotta prioritise the muslim countries it’s kinda like a mission for me.

Interests

Everything related to my beautiful religion. I’m not crazy about maths like those mathematicians (though I’ll be likely to become one) but I really enjoy the positive feedbacks at any stage when I’m trying to figure out something crazily complicated. That’s kinda like my biggest passion in my life. Also I watch football and I played as a right back in an amateur team in China before I moved to the UK but I quit now coz of the lack of time. I think that’s it. I’m a bit like a script kiddie or a maths nerd when it comes to hobbies and interests. Also I’m interested in different cultures and people. Embracing new stuff always makes the boring me happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like Interstellar and Tenet. I basically read maths books but I’m learning Quran systematically right now as well. I listen to all genres of music but I like Arabic ones most. I got bullied by my teacher when I was in China in literature class so I’m still working on getting my passion for reading back.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Have visited all mosques in London(where I’m living in)
Also I cooked food for a whole day and raised 1000£ with my friends for the people in Syria to buy them duvets and pillows.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can cook some Chinese style halal dishes and I really wanna learn to cook food from other muslim countries. I also enjoys maths discussions. I can teach some maths below year 3 university level for fun. Also please teach me Arabic. I’ll be willing to share anything if I could.
