ABOUT ME

Skiing is my passion, but I like to surf, mountain bike and be outdoors as much as possible. Yoga helps keep me stay grounded and fresh air makes me happy. I love to try new fruit while traveling.

Do what you like, surround yourself with good people, go outside, eat fruit, smile.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My past roomates were part of couch surfing, and we always had loads of people staying over. I've hosted some, and met some amazing people surfing myself. Local knowledge is so wonderful and I enjoy hanging out with my hosts or surfers. I am now in a much smaller suite with my boyfriend and we are keen to host people depending on our work schedules. We can show avid big mountain skiers\snowboarders a good time and like ski touring/split boarding.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

There's all kinds of people. Strangers are friends you haven't met yet. When people are kind to you, it makes you want to be kind to others, and thus sets a grand wheel of kindness in motion.

Interests

Ski, surf, bike, hike, horses. I want to visit the worlds mountains; Alps, Andes, Himalayas... and ski them. I would like to work a ski season in New Zealand, then bike around the country. A surf trip to Nicaragua and Argentina ski trip is also a frequent daydream.

Real life adventure books like Colin Angus. Tom Robbins is awesome! Jitterbug perfume is a must read.
Documentaries: cowspiracy, earthlings, forks over knives. Get educated.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I cant pick one... Skied Whistler during an Epic snow year, gone on multiday backcountry horseback trips, Semuc Champy Guatemala, surfed some fun waves in Puerto Escondido, Maui, Australia, and Indonesia.
Spent 5 amazing months in southeast Asia.
Hiked volcanoes and cooked marshmallows on lava.
