Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I learned about couchsurfing.com when I moved back to Honolulu in 2010, my roommate was a host and he hosted a few people while I lived there. I loved the concept and instantly wanted to join since I am an avid traveler myself but I have always relied on friends of friends or hostels, this opened many new doors of opportunities and experiences with locals! So how I participate is by couchsurfing and soon hosting when I have a place I can host at.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recently couchsurfed for the first time ever in Bellingham and it was a wonderful experience. I met some new friends. I was told about happening events in the area. I am hooked and hope to become a bigger part of the couchsurfing community by hosting and surfing!
