About Me
I try to live my life in a meaningful way each day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I grew up in poverty and pursued a degree in social work; I've seen a lot. I believe everyone should have the same opportunities to explore and reach their goals and sometimes that simply means having a place to lay their heads.
As a kid who left home early, couch surfing was a lifestyle of survival beginning in high school. Although I have been able to leave poverty behind, I prefer couch surfing while traveling because it enriches my experiences and allows me to indulge myself in culture at the root level. I also believe in more sustainable travel practices such as public transportation, avoiding big corporate tourist traps and sharing of resources. I am particularly interested in learning about single parents from around the world.
