I'm an older woman who remains young on the inside. I have the hippie spirit in me, and with it comes my faith in human beings. I work in technology, but my heart is in the soil. If I can help others with a wandering spirit, or simply a desire to visit family or explore a new region, I'm happy to do so. I look for those who would do the same for me.

I believe human connection is essential to our happy existence. I love to travel, and I understand the struggle to do this affordably. I would love to enjoy this world and its various cultures more, and I welcome those looking to do the same.

Interests

I love working outdoors in the garden. I tend to yearn for times when people relied on their own skills and drive to make a life. Although I spend my days immersed in technology, I prefer to come home and unplug. Sewing, cooking, crafting, gardening--those are the things that bring me joy. I especially love meeting others with similar likes and skills. I crave the expertise of others and always find myself seeking opportunities to share experiences and learn from one another.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

At age 56, I traveled to Italy alone on four days notice, in spite of never having traveled alone, and very far before, (and not speaking Italian). It was the most terrifying and liberating thing I have ever done.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A good sense of humor, conversation, cleanliness, respect for my host's lifestyle and preferences, and any local treats from New England they might like for me to bring them.
