COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted Couchsurfers from all over the world in my apartment in Iceland and I participated as a guest in the Sleepless in Seattle gathering at Marilyn Robinson's home. Most recently, I have hosted one guest since I arrived here on the island. I've been involved at 3 big CS events over the past 3 years: first to our meet up ala Kathie and Richard in France, then next year in Berlin and with Yves and Odile in Cherbourg for the 70th anniversary of Normandy.

Are you kidding? YIKES...come see my apartment and you'll know: wall to wall books on subjects too numerous to mention.
Music: diverse...favorites include classical everything, Beatles, Sigur Ros, Bjork, Adele, David Bowie, Klatuu, Harry Nillson, Mamas and Papas, Barry Manilow, Johnny Mathis, Andrea Bocelli (don't laugh: I'm a hopeless romantic).
Movies: my weak spot! I watch at least one a day from Netflix...usually two. Mostly comedy...life is sad enough without watching it on the screen.
