I am a 20 year old student from Singapore. Currently studying business administration (first year) and hoping to study psychology and sociology in the future. I am super interested in how people think and different causations of human behaviours. Generally, I think people and the society are very interesting topics.
Every country I go to becomes my favourite country, but deep down I still love Singapore the best :p
I enjoy intellectually stimulating conversations and talking about philosophical questions and ethical dilemmas. That being said, I am also super fun and chill and have no problems getting along with everyone :)
I'm also super clean and neat so I won't make a mess/ if i do, i'll clean it up.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Firstly, I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet people on trips and to live as the locals do. Do things that aren't purely touristy. Befriend locals and have some form of cultural exchange. Make new friends and have a new experience each time I couch surf. Experiences that come from couchsurfing cannot be replicated if i were to just stay in a hotel or an airbnb. The people are the best part of visitng a foreign land, how else to enjoy the trip but to go into the belly of the beast and crash with a local :)

Interests

I love sports. I have been an athlete almost my whole life. I have done a wide variety of sports throughout my life. very interested in picking up new sports and trying random physical activities.

I also love food, i'd like to think that I have quite an acute sense of smell and taste. I eat alot, I love trying new food and learning to cook different things :) (At least the sports helps balance all that i consume)

Travelling is also something that I enjoy greatly, especially when I get to meet new people and locals to find out more about the country. Travelling to me is more than just a holiday getaway. it's about immersing myself into the culture and taking it all in. Learning and embracing all the differences and similarities and just taking it chill.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Kodaline and troye Sivan, I like indie/alternative music and songs with heavy bass beats or catchy beats (edm). But generally, i just listen to all sorts of music and if I like it, i like it. And also, disney songs are my stress reliever. :>

I love love love harry potter. It was such a big part of my childhood. Only recently did i get into Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones :) (Both books and movies)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went trekking in nepal for 3 weeks. Living in the mountains in guest houses and enduring the mad coldness in November. It was physically very demanding but the experiences and the view was very much worth it. Words cannot properly describe how amazing the trip was :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm keen to learn how locals live and learn about anything under the sun :) No topic is too remote.
I'm also keen on learning how to cook or make local foods and drinks. And I can teach some in return.
