ABOUT ME

A Kiwi and an Austrian who met while working and travelling in Canada, then we found ourselves living together back in the Austrian countryside for a couple of years, NOW we have make the decision to come back to beautiful NZ, I thought it was time I showed Markus my side of the world! :)... We are both relaxed, love the outdoors, sports & enjoy many chill sessions over a few beers and getting to know new and interesting people.
I love to work with children teaching and leading them in all the ways that i can. Markus spent many winters working as a ski tech but now found himself a 'business dude' job ... haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Me and my best mate joined this site when we did a trip around Europe in Sept - Nov 2010... We wanted to make it a slightly different experience to that of just doing a tour!.. We were introduced to couch surfing by some friends and we believe from joining this site we were able to have a unique, one of a kind trip that we will remember for the rest of our lives!.... I have always been very open minded to meeting new cultures and seeing Europe through the eyes of a traveller...rather than just a tourist! ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was travelling around USA and Canada 3 years ago ... But only just found out about couch surfing when i came over to Europe in Sept 2010 ...
I then couch surfed around most of Europe for 2months with my best friend and we have some amazing and hilarious couch surfing stories that made my trip so awesome. Markus has travelled alot through Canada, Alaska, South & Central America but never really known about couch surfing before until i told him about my experiences, now he is really interested so i hope we get the possibilities to share some awesome couch surfing stories together aswell.
