ABOUT ME

I recently returned to the Melbourne area after 3 years of country living, would be cool to make some new friends:) I've been absent from couchsurfing for way too long. It played such a big role in my life while I was travelling- I hope I can start to return some of the favours soon!!!

Some of this profile is a bit outdated for sure, so maybe you'll just have to ask me yourself haha:p

Hmmm, as for a description? I like art? Haha have an obsession with becoming covered in tattoos and love all things wierd and wacky^^ (tho i'm quite artisticly backwards myself;)!)

PHILOSOPHY

oh boy, don't get me started! I'll save your poor ears(or more to the case, eyes!):P
but (oh no, here i go!)basicly i am very aware of my own mortality! i think people on the whole are in the frame of mind that they are gonna live forever..but baby you can't take anything with you when you die!
so don't worry too much, live a little, take a chance, laugh, cry, fall in love, fall out of love, live for the moment, plan for the future. there is no reality but the one you make for yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am hoping to be able to meet people while i travel; travelling is always enjoyable but the experiences are all the richer when you have people to share them with!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

as you may be able to tell, i am keen on meeting people through the groups:) being in a new country/city can be a bit lonely but its so nice to know there are people willing to meet and share stories and good times:)
it really is like a great big family^^

Interests

My current interest involves searching for inspiration for my next tattoo and finding new artists to ink me!
I'm also a huge fan of bodymodifications and the art of ritual. (in a non creepy way:P)

Hehe ok so i do have other interests, too. I enjoy the company of other people, even when there is nothing but silence (actually i think the best friends are the ones where there is no such thing as awkward silence!)
I love to see live music, almost always i can listen to anything when its live!

Most of all i love to be pushed out of my comfort zone- so i'm always up for trying new things and developing new interests!

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I'll listen and watch aaalmost anything haha.
I draw the line at bad/low budget LARP fandom movies though ahahahah:p
Oh, and chick flicks. Bad Hollywood chick flicks (ok, stick-to-the-formula Hollywood anything for that matter!!) make my skin crawl and give me an overwhelming urge to throw myself off a bridge!

Going through a rewatch of the X Files and finishing Battlestar Galactica at the moment, don't really watch the idiot box too often though;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Would have to be when i was 17 i participated in doing vollunteer work for 3 months in nepal in orphanges. it was most definately a life altering experience and an emotional rollercoaster!
Haha on another level, seeing an Aussie metal/screamo band in Singapore was pretty damn awesome:D and here i was thinking Singaporeans were tame....;)
oh, wait, and sauna in Finland! I mean, what else do you do with a complete stranger but get naked with them;P
