Hello ladies and gents. I am Cherry from Hong Kong. I am a student and just graduated from uni (job hunting sucks) . I just turned 23. A little older than the legal drinking age in the awesome State! I just wish to go as many places as i can and see all wonderful things in the world! So, I am applying for Flight attendant job(let me know if you ever see me on the plane in the future;) haha!) Nothing can be more exciting than traveling around and meeting you awesome people!! So if you never meet anyone from Hong Kong before, this will be amazing for you as I can tell you a lot about my place where is a very fascinating and bustle city in coastal China. I like to step out of my comfort zone, explore the world and whatnot YOLO!My ideal is to be busy enjoying the day and then kick back at night with friends and enjoy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the best thing to let people from different corners of the world to gather and share experience of their lives. I did couchsurfing during the after semester trip in the States ( in New York, Washington D.C, Boston, SF, Charleston)! The hosts I met are so lovely and friendly and they even brought me to local cool places and restaurants and to meet some of their friends as well! Where else can you find an awesome local friend? I have to say, this is the best thing ever in the world!

Well, I love all kind of music, like pop, EDM, country, classical..ya pretty much all. One of my fav band is Arctic Monkey !
Not quite a reading person but trying to pick up this classy habit. Just finished reading Lean In and The Best of Me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studied aboard in the States and meet new faces from all around the world. Experiencing new cultures always amazes me. People all have little things that we do differently and eat differently, but we all seem to truly be the same once we stop to realize it. And just did a two-month backpacking in Europe with my best American buddy and got to meet up with so many exchange friends there and some other new friends! It was absolutely AMAZING!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Cantonese and Mandarin if you wish to learn. As a HongKonger, I can share my understanding of the Chinese culture to you all. And I am also willing to share my life experience with you. The people I've met, the interconnection with other people I've had.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have so many travel stories to tell and I'd love to cook you some foods (Not an expert but will try my very best ;) ) I'd love to spend as much time as possible with you if you are free and you'd like to as well ofcoz! I simply just enjoy meeting new people and love to share anything with you about Hong Kong, life, books that I read, music taste, travel and exchange stories, singularity theory (jk lol)! But ya, anything you are interested in!
