About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live without regret, experience and see the world!
ABOUT ME
I have been moving continents a few times and I love travelling. I was born in Indonesia, then moved to Sydney Australia when I was 15 years old initially as an overseas student and ended up Australian after 10 years. In my 24th, I came to live in London under the WHM visa for a year and a few months. The experience was great and eye-opening full with weekend travels around EU, I completely fell in love with the cosmopolitan lifestyle and the travel-friendly location.
Unfortunately though I was not qualify for Tier 1 back then due to Master degree requirement. So I moved back to Sydney for a year or so. Now I am back in London with Tier 1 for more travelling, experience and seeing what life offers next. Why not? I'm still in my 20s :) Now that I have found a job in London, I do hope to stay till 2016.
PHILOSOPHY
"Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people." â Eleanor Roosevelt
"Life is not a dress rehearsal" â Rose Tremain
You can talk about what you want to do forever and nothing gets done in the end. There is never time to do it, you just have to make time! Do you know that regret is a b*tch?
"Laugh your heart out, dance in the rain, cherish the moment, ignore the pain, live, laugh, love, forgive & forget. Life is too short to be living with regrets"
"Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you gonna get"
"What goes around comes around"
"Happiness is in the state of mind"
"I am a lover not a fighter but I will fight for what I love"
"Never regret something that once made you smile"
"Being happy doesn't mean everything is perfect. It means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections"
"Before success comes in any manâs life, heâs sure to meet with much temporary defeat and, perhaps some failures. When defeat overtakes a man, the easiest and the most logical thing to do is to quit. Thatâs exactly what the majority of men do.â â Napoleon Hill
"Find a job you love, and you will never have to work again.â â Confucius
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm happy to meet up for coffee or to show other CS members around London. I love the museum, exhibitions, musicals, transport system, different food and characters that different London areas offer. My current plan is to stay in London till 2016 and travel around Europe on the weekends or whenever work permits.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Still newbie with one CS experience in Denmark, some CS outings in London... I surfed once (it was a great experience), but I will stick to coffee/drinks only in the future because it doesn't take up other people's time as much as surfing.
