About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun.

ABOUT ME

Not contented with my life right now: 9-6 job, corporate slave, stuck. Even though my current employer pays and treats me well, even though I might get a shot at a promotion in the near future...I would gladly turn my back on all these for a chance to travel.

In fact, we made that happen. We QUIT our jobs to travel for 6 months around Southeast Asia. This is our way of shouting it to the world:

We told our parents, too!

Oh, I also sold ALL my possessions to fund my need for travel:

I'll be leaving on Mar7 for Singapore, the first stop in our Southeast Asia adventure. Follow our journey on http://www.wearesolesisters.com. Maybe even help us by letting us stay on your couch or floor (we'll be bringing sleeping mats) or just show us around in your amazing city.

Live. Love. Laugh.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in the Philippines has been one amazing trip of a lifetime.

Let me share a few of the things I've experienced:
- Childhood summers spent in the white powdery beaches of Bantayan Island, Cebu. Google it. NOW!
- Spent my whole life in the Queen City of the South, Cebu. Cebu is the tamer sister of Manila. Most everything you can find in Manila, you can find in Cebu (malls, work, schools, food, etc.) but without the mess, confusion, garbage and pollution.
- Traipsing around Coron, Palawan. Oh I can't tell you enough about this magical place. Go. Now.
- Camping in North Luzon, just a few hours away from Manila. Anawangin - Boracay meets Baguio. Potipot - Small island surrounded by white sand.
- My happy beach - CALAGUAS. Do yourself a favor, google it and go there. I'll let the pictures convince you.

I can't wait to backpack through my country after I'm done with the world.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam
