ABOUT ME

I'm high-energy, optimistic and a dreamer. I have a thousand things going on at once and determined to make them all happen. I'm a graduate student, but it doesn't mean I don't have fun. I go to concerts weekly, have more vinyl than someone should. I love interesting people and boring people. I like bad jokes and pop culture references. I'm a science nerd, but not so much so that I'm antisocial. I like what I like and hopefully you'll like that too!

PHILOSOPHY

My motto is: When in doubt, laugh. There's no point going through life being serious. You have to have the ability to laugh at irony of the world, but also yourself.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to provide housing for those that cannot. I have had the pleasure of surfing, and I've always had a wonderful time. I want to give back to those who have given me a safe place to be in a strange and new world. If I can provide someplace warm and comfortable, then I've done my job.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent ten days in London with my best friend and couch surfer partner, Emily. I've also traveled in the United States, in New York City, New Jersey, and Minnesota. I've always had a great time, and encourage everyone to try it once in their lives.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Travel around London by myself, without getting lost. It was my first time in Europe, and to navigate and explore without winding up in a different town was a marvel. I'm notorious for never being able to get around in Chicago, my hometown.

I love music probably more than most things, and I love introducing others to new bands and sounds. I also love languages, so if you speak a different tongue, I love learning new words. I can share my love for cooking food, which has been passed down from my grandparents and other relatives. It's good for the soul.
