About Me

My name is Anastasia, I’m from Ukraine, Kyiv. Now due to war in my country I live in Berlin, Germany. I learn German language in Freie Universität. I work on a bar in beer garden. I’m really enjoying my life now. I’d like to meet new friends around the world. I like a lot of different activities and have various hobbies. I read a lot, crochet, sew and watch documentaries.

I my past life in Ukraine I was studying Germanistics. Unfortunately I didn’t finish my study, but I had a nice job in logistics and I was looking for my way.

I love traveling and exploring new places. When I visit a country or city, I’m trying to act like a live there and I’m not a tourist. I think it’s the way to feel the real life wherever you are.

I enjoy planting and communicating with animals. I think one day I’d like to have a farm in the middle of nowhere. I want to learn everything about medical plants and maybe be able to help people in the future.

Unfortunately now I don’t have a possibility to host people because I don’t have my own place. I work really hard on it now and I hope soon I’ll be able to host my first host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this is a very nice project that helps people meet each other. You can easily find friends in any country. Here people are helping each other and sharing experiences and knowledges. I find it pretty cool.

Interests

I have a plenty of interest. I like sport, reading, sewing, painting. I like animals very much, especially dogs 💖
I’m really keen on astrology and supernatural things 😝🙃

Music, Movies, and Books

I don’t really have favorite music genre, but I can’t live without music. For now I listen to Brasilien band Raul Seixas and I find it very nice. Paulo Coelho was writing texts for these songs and I found out about it when I was making a presentation about the author.
But in general I can’t tell the genre I listen to bc I listen not to a genre but to a good sound. It can be anything, but if the song touches me I love it no matter what it is!

I like detective movies and books. I really like to have this feeling when you watch or read a good detective, the feeling when you don’t know what is going to happen next. I also love spiritual books sometimes and fantasy. I read a lot of anti utopias before, and I find this genre pretty unic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I found the way to love myself and everything surrounding me when it was tough. Found a way not to blame anyone or anything for bad things happening. And I found peace and balance. I help people, bc I know one day it will get back to me when I need it the most. Maybe for some people it’s nothing, but it’s a very big step in life personally for me and I’m proud of myself.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you Ukrainian and Russian if you like. I’m also pretty good at cooking. I can sew and crochet. And I also can share with you a nice list of books and some random knowledges I have about everything in the world 🌎
