About Me
My husband Rich and I have lived in SF for about 30 years. We enjoy hiking and cycling and getting around our City on foot and on public transit. One way hikes using the bus system are a favorite thing to do. We are both recently early and suddenly retired and are enjoying having the time to do fun things. I worked in Pharma Distribution and serve on several Transit Agency Boards of Directors. Public Service is very important to me, we have no children so I feel that public service is how I will leave the world a better place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love our City and are looking forward to sharing it with others. We travel a lot and know how much local contacts can add to your enjoyment of a new place. We are going to go mobile and travel full time later this year.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While cycling in China we joined in a village collective lunch. No one spoke each other's language, but we spent an amazing hour sitting at a table with the elders enjoying a meal. Traveling in Indonesia we took trains almost the length of Java - it was a great experience and a lovely way to see the countryside. We walked the Camino Ingles in 2018 and despite the daily rain it was one of my favorite trips.
