About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To never stop seeking beauty in the world.

ABOUT ME

In a nut-shell: I'm a complete nerd. I can talk about books and words and quotes for forever and a day over a good cup of tea and a decadent slice of cake. I'm a curious artist that loves all things creative. I can't help but look up flights and plan trips; travelling makes me excited and nervous all at the same time and I just can't get enough of it. I'm friendly and chatty, unless I'm engrossed in a book or watching the newest episode of The Vampire Diaries (because then I'll be consumed in intense silence with occasional gasps of shock!) I love meeting new people and treasure learning new things from them.

PHILOSOPHY

"Do small things with great love." - Mother Teresa

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still a newbie to all of this. Since I live in a shared house I doubt I'll be able to host much, but I'm always up for showing people around and exploring the wonderful city of Liverpool together.

Hopefully I'll be able to add more in this box over the coming summer!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Anything acoustic, folks'y and with lyrics that hit you hard! (John Mayer, The Civil Wars, Bastille)
Movies: A good inspirational film like: Dead Poets Society, Good Will Hunting or Shawshank Redemption.
Books: The Harry Potter Series, Margaret Atwood, Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, Shakespeare, Joyce, Woolf, Morpurgo... the list goes on.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The buzzing life of Manhattan from the top of the Empire State Building. The powerful and majestic water of Victoria Falls in Lusaka. A rare black rhino in the wild bush of Zambia seen from a distance of around 5 metres away (on foot!) Striding atop of the Houses of Parliament in London, looking out onto the city with Big Ben literally just a stones throw away.
