Easygoing person who enjoy discovering new places and learning about the culture. I have been living in the arctic of Canada for the past 5 years as a teacher in Umiujaq. It’s a small community of 450 people isolated by plane in Nunavik, Northern part of Quebec in Canada and situated at the tree limit.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I thought couch surfing could be a good way to meet people and discover new places while travelling. Also, this year, from July 1st 2019 to August 1st 2020, I get a whole year off and I can travel and discover anywhere I want.

When I'll be back home in Umiujaq, I will be more than happy to host some of you whenever you pass by Umiujaq and show you around. We also have the chance to be surrounded by Tursujuq National Park in Nunavik. Since I live up North, I have been hosting many people every year who are exploring the arctic area or who are coming for a variety of special projects even though it wasn't through Couch Surfing.

Outdoor. Love the feeling of being so small in front of nature that I get when I'm contemplating a nice view. I always feel lucky that I get to witness the vastness of nature.

Books: I recently enjoyed reading l'Orangeraie from Larry Tremblay. Also, I've been reading a lot of graphic novels recently, I enjoyed "Blast".
