Hey there! I’m Cheryl :)

I first joined Couchsurfing back in 2013 when I was in university — I was incredibly lucky to be hosted by kind, generous people during my travels through Italy and later Malaysia. Those trips wouldn’t have been possible and definitely wouldn’t have been as meaningful without CS.

I love learning about different countries, cultures, different ways of living. For me, travel is more than just seeing new places — it’s about the people you meet, the unexpected conversations, the new friendships, and those simple, everyday moments that end up becoming the most special memories.

I’m friendly, respectful, and always curious — open to connecting and learning from others wherever I go.

To meet people! I love connecting with people who actual lives there and getting to know a place beyond the usual tourist spots. Couchsurfing makes it possible to see a place through someone else’s eyes — and that just makes the experience so much richer and special.
