ABOUT ME

So, I've been backpacking the last 9.5 months through Africa. It was absolutely amazing. I was mostly in North Africa and East Africa and I loved it all. Now, I'm back in the US and not ready to rejoin the workforce. I'm taking it easy and trying to readjust to life here. My latest plan is to roadtrip with my little sister (19yrs old). We're great friends and both have some free time so we are headed cross country. The route and dates change continuously, but we'd love to find some great people along the way to crash with.

PHILOSOPHY

No day but today. There is always time to do what you want if you make time for it. It's just a matter of putting your priorities in order and taking action. Be brave and everything will work out in the end....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just joined couchsurfers and do not have any couchsurfing experience. I only joined since so many friends along my travels have joined and expressed sincere shock that I was not already a part of this great group. So, here I am looking for my first of many couchsurfing experiences.....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed to the top of Mount Sinai in Egypt and watched the sunrise over the mountain peaks. It was an incredible experience. We left our camp at 2am in pitch blackness. I couldn't even see the road in front of me, but it didn't matter as I just kept gazing upward at the awe-inspiring stars. The mountain climb was tough and it was freezing, but unbelievably worthwhile. Climbing up this mountain were a wonderful mix of people from all walks of life, from young to old, from Jewish to Muslim, all with the same goal. The top of the mountain was frigid and the sky began to brighten slowly. As the sun peaked from behind the mountains, everyone, huddled together for warmth, gasped. It was stunning. The strong rays of the sun began to warm us and the light danced along the top of the mountain. It was truly an unbelievable experience...
