ABOUT ME

I've been to 32 states and 40 countries on five continents. I'm always planning my next adventure! My favorite part about travelling is the amazing people and places I get to see, but I also appreciate having the opportunity to travel for the reasons we all do: it opens my eyes to different perspectives, it gives me a better understanding of the world and my place in it and it makes me feel humble and grateful to have all the opportunities that I do.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm active in the CS community in my home town of Austin, TX. I went to some great Couchsurfing events in Berlin/Fuessen, Germany, as well as Mendoza/Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Moscow/St Petersburg Russia. I have couchsurfered in Argentina and I would like to more in the future. I have not yet couch-hosted myself but I would like to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my recent trip to Germany I met several amazing couch surfers and went to a couple of couch surfing events. I have also met and hung out with some Austin couch surfers as well. I would like to host, I am working on that.

兴趣

Mountain biking, soccer, swimming, sports, drinking, friends. And coffee! I love to cook and am working on my photography skills. I like to read (nonfiction mostly) and I'm teaching myself to play the piano. Going hiking and camping in the Texas hill country. Also in Texas we like to barbecue. A lot.

I was on a national championship team at university. I also used to ride in a rodeo. My goal is to visit all seven continents.

I love electronic music: Tiesto, David Guetta, Avicii, Steve Aoki, Martin Garrrix (don't judge me). I'm always up for discovering new music and hitting up new music venues around the world. I'm also actively working on learning spanish, I'm always up for practicing spanish/english.
