ABOUT ME

I am Cheryl , or Ling(in chinese)
People say I am genuine, kind-hearted funny,cute ,curious and clumsy :p sometimes get very energentic and unexpected behaviour friends called drunk mode.
I love the thrill of performing and meeting getting to know different people of the world especially Europe. I feel that's the place I want to live for some time .
I am a quite sentimental person , i can be touched very easily.
I love animals especially dogs .
I LOVE TO hear each other's stories and thoughts and dreams in life and how each other strive for it what each other has experienced.

My favourite colour is pink, which just like my personality, romantic and bold. ;p
I love Japanese Tokyo fashion like Harajuka or Lolita.

I just graduated from studying western Literature, currently studying language and communication.
I have a part time job , a show every weekend and public holidays in discovery park ( a shopping mall) dressed up in princess attire(the asian snow white, belle, Ariel) tell kids Chinese and English stories , sing and play music on my guitar/ ukulele to them.

Life is too short to be afraid.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through a post on facebook posed by a friend in my school about going to Europe travel to experience life by couchsurfing and busking.

couchsurfed in Berlin, Amsterdam. Paris , London.
Going to host people in Hong Kong.

Interests

Any types of art and perform.
I can play ukulele, drum,sing,a few chords in guitar ,try to write songs, love fashion, watch musical , take selfies , enjoy talking to people.
I Wrote sacastic poems and stories that appears to be like fairytales or lovely on surface . Or black horror stories on surface but have reflective sarcastic values deep down
e.g fairytales after endings stories, poems about funeral of the blamed political figures
(But not anymore now, now I am practicing piano, drum , songs I wrote to upload to youtube)

Right now am reading a book about how Princeston graduate Taiwanese girl gave up her desirable job ,be a teacher in poor rural corners in Taiwan her teaching mission

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba Diving
Flying in the sky by parachute and rope linked to a boat on the sea
Feed and holding baby tigers
Talk with and feed mentally challenged adults
a month travel in Europe (berlin,amsterdam,paris,london)to have group dance performance with 13 other hk people and individual busking of playing ukulele wearing lolita meet and talk with different people.
And formed 'Otherist' , with 2 other groupmates , a girl play harp ,another girl play violin and i sing , we perform classical songs like angel of music , moon river , the rose..make like 40 euro in 2 hours. Chat and be friends with the audience that live different lives
like meet Cnn reporter, paris models, photographers , lolita stylist and blogger,families , students,kids,bacelona artist, men invite beer , invite u date or crazy ppl just put down stripper leaflet and a lighter
Our group leader is quite famous person in Hk dedicated to reform hk policies and love society. Learned a lot from his perspective of how he see different society and be fearless.

Perform Michael Jackson Relieved 2 Musical in HK Academey of performing Art Theatre even i am a small dancer
Just spontaneously go out and sing with the street musicans playing electric guitar and many young people come and gathered around
Write songs to friends make them feel touched and shed tears
Make different creative cakes like oreo cakes and huge face size egg tart.
Talk with whose who are in need eating garbage at street and give them support learn not to help and love human
Take photo project of animals like dogs that live in the same district but by rich people and beggars at street that showed severe difference in lifetstyle

How to sing accompanied with percussion on a cup
