Being a jack of all trades but master of none hasn't stopped me from trying new things and looking like a fool in the process. I grew up in Vancouver most of my life but still get amazed when it finally stops raining and the fog lifts in the summertime. I like to be outside, moving, touching, tasting, and seeing. The feeling of being settled unsettles me.

A bad knee has made me less of a mountain and more of an ocean girl lately, but mountains, I'll be back!

Pretty difficult to pick just one...
- Crocodile hunting in Sian Ka'an, Mexico - don't worry, we set it free after making some observations...I sat on a crocodile!
- Close encounter with a black bear while kayaking between 2 rock islands in shallow water...I've never paddled that fast in my life.
- Cycling from Veracruz to Chiappas. Ok....not the whole way, those mountain passes are treacherous.
- Meditating for 10 hours/day for 10 consecutive days
- Spending 10 days on a boat up the South Coast of BC
- Kayaking with pods of Orcas and humpback whales

I believe all forms of teaching are actually learning exchanges where we learn from each other. I'm not an expert at any of these, but if you ever want to play some capoeira angola or learn a cheesy pop song on the ukulele, give me a shout. I am learning a few things right now, things such as whistling, patience, and balancing with my eyes closed.
