About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet some rad people

ABOUT ME

Okay, some quick facts --

I am a morning person, in a big bad way. You know, THAT girl who does handsprings out of bed, hangover free, and greets the day with limitless optimism.

I have ran 26.2 miles with 500 Elvis impersonators, the Blue Man Group, and a barefoot guy.

I have a zombie-phobia. Of course, I know they're not real but still...

I have survived the "Call-A-Cab" slushie-thingie at Wet Willies in Miami.

I can turn down a dare or a double dare, but never a double dog dare.

PHILOSOPHY

"Continue to surprise those who would put you in a neat demographic. Be insistently curious."
~Gordon Gee

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surf mostly. And my couch is open sporadically. I graciously give and receive talents, conversation, knowledge.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a seasoned marathoner and have surfed many couches in the past 15 years of competitive racing. I have hosted mostly friends and family, sometimes friends-of-friends, and sometimes strangers turned friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Maui, yoga on a cliff I claimed as my own. My cliff sits between uniquely opposite yet equally beautiful beaches. Their waters meet and kiss right before me. Nothing I have experienced so far can match their cohesive symmetry and significance upon the other.

I later escaped a mob of angry cows by repelling down that same cliff.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a professional eavesdropper... Seriously, it is a most useful travel skill that has dislodged me from several sticky situations in the past. Plus, it's just plain fun.

I'm also a fairly skilled yogi. If you're wanting to learn an asana or two, I'm down.
