Overview
About Me
Hi I'm Chester, from Taiwan (an island close to China and Japan)
I'm neither high nor tall, neither handsome nor ugly, neither smart nor stupid...I'm just a normal guy with an open mind. What I enjoy the most with myself is socratic questioning, which I would also go on with my friends sometimes because it's really interesting. But I'm still laid back and very difficult to get angry.
I studied in veterinary medicine in university and got my license in Taiwan. I love animals and treat them as friends, which is the reason I want to be a vet. I try to respect everyone and every creature in nature.
I devote myself to my career, but I also enjoy leisure time by playing music, badminton, hanging out with friends and traveling with anyone I love.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really enjoy every new relationship with everyone I met during my trips, and I can get more chances by couch surfing. Even traveling in my country I often choose to stay at hostel rather than hotel because I can share and hear lots of interesting things from others, and most important of all, making new friends! Also I can find more special attractions under the guidance of local friends.
Interests
I love to play piano.
I love to play badminton, table tennis, baseball, volleyball....a little basketball and soccer XD
I love traveling (most of time just sightseeing, to be honest)
I love taking pictures, but just an amateur.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like most kinds of music, maybe pop, rock and classical music are my favorite.
I love movies such as Inception, Interstellar, 500 days with Summer, Star Wars...
About books....like "Thinking, fast and slow", "Justice: What's the Right thing to do" or other books about psychology, philosophy and sociology.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've circled my country alone by motorbike twice, about 12 days for each. I really enjoyed the solitude during the trip and new friendships with locals or travel mates.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I'm still a freshman of veterinary medicine, I probably cannot teach very much about this field but I will always be learning till I die! Other things I can teach might be classical piano or Chinese. BTW I use traditional Chinese, different from simplified Chinese in China, but the spoken language is most the same.
I'm still learning English, so I really hope to have more chances to talk and practice with English speakers!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share my experience about pets (veterinary medicine), traveling, music (with piano or guitar)~
