About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Want to meet other cool nature-loving people
ABOUT ME
After living in the Caribbean for 4.5 years I'm now back in the city. I'm just in a "transition" phase til my girlfriend and I find another overseas stint.
PHILOSOPHY
I follow the golden rule, treat others like how you want them to treat you. Live life to the fullest and no matter what you decide, no regrets.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I used to live in TCI I used to host quite a few, but sadly I can't do the same here. But I can meet up for drinks and hang out with CSers til I find a more suitable abode to host.

Interests
Well I definitely love the water, I go diving, kayaking, sailing and most recently kiteboarding. You can actually kiteboard in the beach close to us but you'll have to walk a bit further down since there are shallow coral reefs in front, not good for the board.
I also love to travel to meet people and try out different food. I love to eat. And being Asian, specifically Chinese I'm rarely squimish about food, as long as it doesn't violate my moral standards.

Music, Movies, and Books
Dan Brown's books. and just recently a must read for everybody Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With all the diving that I've done I've seen a lot of great stuff. But I still have yet to see a humpback whale underwater which thankfully is made possible by diving here. It's not guaranteed but you will if you're lucky enough.
Teach, Learn, Share
Turks and Caicos Islands is geographically a part of the Bahamas but not politically nor economically since the Bahamas became independent in the 70's. We're also not part of the Caribbean but technically the Atlantic ocean. But since very few people know where we are we just say Bahamas or Caribbean for simplicity. This country has some great beaches but not cheap. To give you an idea, a six pack of Budweiser at the local supermarket is about $9.
