About Me

Hi! I recently moved from DC to my hometown of Philadelphia. I work from home so am always keeping busy after work whether it be hitting up the gym, meeting up with friends or groups for drinks, or catching a Flyers or Phils game. I love living in Old City and would be happy to share my home with a CS'er and show them why Philadelphia is such a great town!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first time I heard about CS was while standing in line to walk up to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Actually it was about five minutes before my one profile pic was taken! This guy had a huge backpack on and I made a joke about him needing to one up everyone else in line by carrying a pack up all those flights of stairs. Turns out Paris was his last stop before heading back home to Canada. He'd spent the past few months in SE Asia and spent a lot of time surfing couches, getting to know foreign cities and hosts and having a great time. I've been a member of CS ever since. Now that I have my own place and a guest room, I want to get more involved and share what I can with travelers.

With a free month before I started with my current company, I packed my bags and booked a flight to Paris. My mom and grandma joined me for the first week and then I celebrated my 26th birthday with a bar full of strangers who became friends.

My futon, dinner/drinks/coffee. Always up for a concert too! I have a Labrador puppy so please be ok with dogs.
