About Me

Well... Short descriptions need deep knowledge of yourself, probably that's why mine is quite long!

UPDATE: In August 2021 I become an awkward father, since Pietro was born and joined the family! :-)

I'm an environmental engineer, surely an atypical one... totally lacking in engineering perspective! I'm a social and talkative person and, since I don't take myself too serously, I'm really self-ironic.
I'm antifascist and I'm sure Capitalism doesn't work. I'm looking for a more eco-friendly, social-fair and frugal life style. I hate Consumerism and waste(fulness).

I'm a bit addicted to mountains and outdoor!
I love travelling slowly, expecially by foot, backpacking by public transports or by car sharing 'cause I always look forward for more opportunities of relationship with a territory and its people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hosting surfers from all over the world is a way to keep myself travelling...!

Travelling is not a drug... but it creates dependency! ;-)

Interests

I adore outdoor and mountains: hiking, climbing, skiing... so, when I can, I'm up there with friends! Often, for all the week-end, since I love sleeping in alpine huts and bivacs.

Travelling, of course! Cities or wild places, it doesn't matter. Jean-Claude Izzo wrote: "Facing the sea, happiness is a simple idea"... who can contradict him?

I love books and painting exhibitions.
My favorite sport is rugby: I'm crazy of it...!

Music, Movies, and Books

Rayuela (Hopscotch) by Julio Cortazar... you should read it!
About movies, I've seen thousands and it's an hard choice... probably, my favourite is La Haine (directed by M. Kassovitz).

What I Can Share with Hosts

After the Covid-19 pandemic and the birth of Pietro, we have not yet had the opportunity to host CSurfers, but we would love to!

In the past my door was always open, but I'm not on CS just in order to save money. Using a couch as a free hotel means losing a lot! Please, for all your requests, hopes and needs: be clear since the beginning. I'll do the same!

I'm not the best turistic guide of Rovereto: I'm still descovering new secrets in the surroundings... but we can easily provide some tips and suggestion for discovering Garda Lake or beautiful mountains near here!

From Monday to Friday we are a bit busy 'cause of our job, but after 5 PM basically we are free.

We are all messy people, but you'll find a tidy flat...! (wow! maybe hosting CSurfers is an excuse for tiding up! I didn't realize before now!) :-P
