I'm from Toronto, Canada and I enjoy travelling and meeting new people. I like going to concerts and music festivals and would love to meet other people who share my interests (see below).

Interests

I'm into sports like UFC, Formula 1, baseball and especially ice hockey (being from Canada, that's not unusual).

I also like biking, going to museums/art galleries, trying local cuisine, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Pearl Jam, Broken Social Scene, Explosions in the Sky, Battles, Do Make Say Think, Queens of the Stone Age, Bloc Party, etc.

Books: I'm a fan of the publisher Drawn & Quarterly out of Montreal, Canada. I'm especially like works by Guy Delisle, Seth, Chester Brown, Joe Matt, etc.
I also like Bill Bryson and his travel literature is particularly inspiring and humourous (The Lost Continent - Travels in Small-Town America is a classic).
Tintin and the Hardy Boys inspired me as a kid to go out and explore and be a little adventurous.

Movies: Waltz with Bashir, Persepolis, Alien, FUBAR, The Raid: Redemption, No Country for Old Men, Global Metal, Metal: A Headbanger's Journey, Battle Royale, Kill Bill, Lord of the Rings, The Dark Knight, Stand By Me, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending an afternoon riding a bike around Amsterdam (one of my favourite cities).
