About Me

"I'm just a little girl lost in the moment I'm so scared but I don't show it I can't figure it out It's bringing me down I know, I've got to let it go And just enjoy the show"

សួស្តី! Hello everyone :-)

Very first and foremost, I do not host solo male travelers. Sorry for this, and I hope you understand. I am Bomey, I was raised in a farmer family in Banteay Mean Chey Province. As a Cambodian girl especially raised by a very conservative family that wants to preserve Cambodian Tradition and social norms, there are many certain things which I am not allowed to do, but who cares, I already broke some of the rules ;P

Once I graduated from High School, I started to find my truth self. I don't want to spend my whole life stuck at one place and do the same things repeatedly. Hence, I decided to move to Phnom Penh, the capital city of Cambodia for pursuing my bachelor's degree. Because my parents are so closed to me, deciding to leave them was the toughest decision I have ever made. It has been almost 7 years up to now living alone, but this is what my life came for.

By the way, let move back to the topic of who I am ? According to majority they would say I am open-minded, friendly, brave, independent, naughty, crazy and can be short tempered sometimes. I have always found myself loving voluntary works, especially helping disadvantaged kids in need. Last but not certainty the least, traveling makes me sooooo damn happy. In case you happen to receive my request, please let me stay. I am not a bad person :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like getting to know new people from various backgrounds and making friends with strangers. It's possible to study or to learn about other countries by reading book, or articles on the internet, yet just imagine how great it is if you could find someone to tell you directly how his/her country is like.
“Become friends with people who aren't your age. Hang out with people whose first language isn't the same as yours. Get to know someone who doesn't come from your social class. This is how you see the world. This is how you grow...”

Life would be much more meaningful if everyone is your friend instead of stranger or enemy.
Say Peaceeeeeeeeeeeee!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everything is amazing when the result from doing it doesn't harm others but put smiles on their faces.

Teach, Learn, Share

*I can teach Khmer Language, and I swear I would be your amazing teacher haha ..

*Anything which is not illegal or doesn't harm others, all I would love to learn.

*I can share my food. I love eating, so if I share you food, it means that you are lucky ^^ Sharing is Caring.
(I kinda lose the appetite but still willing to eat and share)
