About Me
Hi, I'm Chia-Yao, a Taiwanese, speaking Mandarin, English and a little Japanese.
Learning different languages is fun to me so I picked foreign languages and literature as major. (But I’m not graduated as the top student, please don’t set a high expectation to me. lol)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It’s awesome to meeting new people from different backgrounds and to see a place from local’s point of view.
Tourist guide is only for reference, is it?
Interests
I love to travel and not spending much time on shopping; absorbing other lifestyle or culture is more important for me.
So if you like to go museums or local walking tour events, maybe we share a similar taste.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not stick on a specific music, normally I listen to Radios.
I’m now following BBC Radio I and Radio Javan.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I'm still on the way to it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Exchanging my Mandarin with your mother tongues would be fantastic.
In Taiwan, we read and write in traditional Chinese, not a simplified one.
Not knowing the differences? Just ask me.
Or if you’re interested in knits, I may share my knowledge with you.
(The company I'm working is the supplier of famous athletic brand, and don’t worry, I won’t even try to sell my products to you.)
What I Can Share with Hosts
An introduction of Taiwan, sharing our culture and scenery with you.
