About Me

Hi!!

It's hard to describe myself... So I decided to write something about my couchsurfing experience. Maybe you can get to know me a little bit from there :)

I was an exchange student in Mannheim, Germany from February to July 2017. I sent my first Couchsurfing request during this time, and then I fell in love with the way to interact with the locals. So when I traveled around Europe, I tried my best to find a host in each city. At that time, I just stayed with other people and didn't host people. I had a really good time with my hosts. All my hosts were nice, hospitable, and willing to chat with me. I learned so many new things from my hosts.

After I came back to Taiwan and started working in Hsinchu. I rented an apartment there. Luckily, I have enough space to put a couch in my room. I thought it was time for me to host others and I successfully hosted a couchsurfer!

Now I am studying for my doctorate in Bethlehem, PA, in the USA. I have a couch again for my guests. If you understand the spirit of couchsurfing, are a nice couchsurfer, and need a place to stay in Bethlehem, don't hesitate to send me a request! I wish I can be a nice host like my hosts :)

By the way, here is the link about the life of my exchange program, and my wonderful couchsurfing experience was played in this video (from 1min 39sec):

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In the beginning, to be honest, I wanted to save money. But after my first couchsurfing, I really love the way to interact with people. So many thanks to my first host Corinna, she made me believe that couchsurfing is really meaningful. Now I can say out loud that I couchsurf to meet new friends from all over the world and to learn more about different cultures.
