ABOUT ME

I have spent 21 years in Academia, and still am, fortunately or not. Every once a while, I am tired of being rational, hence I would spend almost a full day with my piano. Enjoys eating. Likes Impressionist art and music. Aspiring and experimental composer.

PHILOSOPHY

Que sera sera! Live life without regrets even if it means resorting to embarassing experimental antics, haha. Afterall, I am lucky enough to be alive and well to be able to try different things, and to share stories and anecdotes. Having said that, I value mutual respect and appreciation regardless.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While in Sheffield, got properly introduced to couch-surfing gang by my squash buddy. Never regretted it since, as CS made my life in Sheffield fantastic.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first surfer was a Belgian girl :) I have hosted many others sicne, from Germany, Taiwan, Spain, Morocco, Canada..... I myself has surfed in Germany, but have not surfed as much as I would have like to.

I HAVE DONE A GERMAN SAUNA! Slept on the couch of a a random nice guy I have known for less than 24 hours.

I can talk about almost anything under the sun but I cannot regurgitate every single episode of Ster Trek! I don't have expectations about what I need to learn, but the more I can be intellectually challenge, the closer I get to nirvana.
